Volunteer registrations for 2021 are now closed

Thank you to all those who registered and assisted with the Launceston City Community Christmas 2021 event and we will be in touch with you with more details on followup events and plans for 2022 shortly.

For those who are planning to volunteer to assist with our 2022 event, please NOTE: 

ALL volunteers involved are required to have a Working With Vulnerable People Card and need to be over 16. If you already have a card, please make sure it will be valid by 25th December 2022. If you don’t have a card, you can register for Volunteering and then apply for a card.

To apply for a card please go to the Department of Justice website and follow the instructions: http://www.justice.tas.gov.au/working_with_children The cost is $19.44

Free food handling training is available at www.launceston.imalert.com.au and the minimum units of this training you will need to complete are : Overview, Contamination of Food, Food Handling Skills and Knowledge, Food Storage, Food Disposal, Health of Person Who Handle food, Hygiene of Food Handlers and Cleanliness.
